Debbie Weems

Deborah Debbie Weems was an American actress and singer. She is best remembered for her recurring roles on the childrens television program Captain Kangaroo.

Debbie Booth Weems was born in Houston, Texas to Benjamin and Rowene Weems, into a family of two sisters, Debbie being the third of the three. During her childhood her parents divorced and each remarried. A half sister was born of her mothers second marriage. The family later relocated to Marlin, a town northwest of Houston.
